Port Meadow

Port Meadow is exceptional during winter floods, attracting large wildfowl flocks, numerous gulls (including rarities) and waders such as Dunlin, Black-tailed Godwit and Ruff. The vast open views allow effortless scanning, and water levels change the birding experience from week to week.

In summer the dry meadow supports Skylark and scattered wetland species along the river. The Meadow remains one of Oxfordshire's most dynamic patches.
