Lower Windrush Gravel Pits

This broad landscape of restored gravel pits constitutes one of Oxfordshire's richest wetland regions. Each lake offers slightly different depths and margins, making the complex excellent for wildfowl, herons, egrets, warblers and raptors. In recent years, Marsh Harrier and Great White Egret have become increasingly regular.
