Sites - Yarnton Mead (SSSI)

Yarnton Mead is a nationally significant meadow system forming part of the Oxford Meadows SAC. During winter floods, the meadow attracts Lapwing, Snipe, Curlew, gulls and various wildfowl. Spring and summer bring breeding Skylark and a rich botanical community supporting invertebrate life that in turn benefits birds.
