Wet woodland & willow carrRiver corridorUrban parkland

The University Parks and Mesopotamia create a linear wetland corridor along the Cherwell, offering excellent opportunities for close-range river birding. Kingfisher and Grey Wagtail frequent the area, while the park's tall trees support Nuthatch, Treecreeper and winter thrush roosts.

The combination of city access and genuine wetland habitat makes this an ideal casual birding site with broad species variety.
