Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Park
Mixed woodlandUrban parkland
Cutteslowe Park is a large, varied urban green space with mature woodland patches, ornamental planting and small lakes. The mixture of habitats supports Nuthatch, woodpeckers, winter thrushes and small numbers of warblers in summer. The ponds occasionally attract Kingfisher and Grey Wagtail, while the surrounding scrub is productive during migration.
Its accessibility makes it a popular casual birding location for city-based members.
