Blenheim's lakes form an extensive wetland landscape, combining deep water with shallower margins and seasonally flooded meadows. Wintering wildfowl include Tufted Duck, Pochard, Wigeon and Gadwall, while Great Crested Grebe is present year-round. The estate is also a notable site for Goosander, especially in colder months. Summer birding reveals Common Tern, Sand Martin and Kingfisher along the watercourses.
The surrounding parkland supports a diverse woodland and grassland bird community, making the area excellent for general birding and for combining open-water scanning with mixed-habitat walks.
